DAGUPAN CITY–A resident of Barangay Bonuan Binloc here was arrested by joint police elements in a buy-bust operation in front of a convenient store in Barangay Lucao at about 1:50 of June 5.

Suspect Danilo Alfredo de la Cruz, 47, was arrested by elements of the Provincial Intelligence Branch, Provincial Anti-Illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Group  of the Pangasinan Provincial office, and the Dagupan Police Station.

De la Cruz was arrested while in the act of selling one  plastic sachets of a crystalline substance called shabu as soon as he was receiving the marked money of P500 from  a police  operative disguised as buyer.

A case for violation of Republic Act  9165 was already filed against the suspect.
