Re: Ilang-ilang plantation project underway

Hooray for Second District Representative Leopoldo Bataoil and his livelihood project. Ilang ilang essence (oils) are used in some of the most expensive French perfumes. I checked the ingredient of some of my wife’s perfumes and in most of them Ilang ilang. I hope the abundance of ilang ilang will make these perfumes less expensive. Hopefully his project becomes a big money maker. Next should be the national flower, the Sampaguita. Its beauty is only rivaled by its fragrance. To my knowledge there is only one perfume that uses the oils derived from the essence of Sampaguita. Again, I hope there will be more.
