Why not debate more important issues that are slowly but surely affecting the livelihood and safety of the vast majority of Pangasinenses?
One issue is the environment and flooding in the low central and coastal areas of Pangasinan. The recent calamity in Metro-Manila should be a wake up call for Pangasinenses and these politicians if indeed they care for the welfare of the public. Is a catastrophe with the magnitude like the recent calamity needed to wake these politicians and those smart engineers up?
The pattern of development in and around Dagupan is like what has been happening in Metro Manila and one need not be a rocket scientist to predict that in a decade or so, a major catastrophe will occur in Dagupan and its environs.
The smart engineers of city hall can upgrade (raise) the roads, and most rich people can raise the ground floor level of their houses, but the flood or nature can easily match or overtop those expensive improvements as can be seen from the catastrophe in Metro Manila area.
For those people pretending to be expert or know the global weather, please Google “weather manipulation or weaponization of space”, then read and understand those articles and publications. Quit for a moment your mindset on global warming.
