It’s about corruption

Re: When US policies affect RP
For your information Mr. Edwin, recession is escalating and global in scope. It does not only affect the United States but is squeezing the pockets of everyone.
What sort of business experience does a President need to have to become successful in leading his nation to boost its economy, create employment, fight corruption, reduce budget deficit and pump investments? Business experience as a requirement is irrelevant. If you are talking about Obama, he’s a lawyer but has a team of economic advisers. His team is responsible in forming economic policies.
I don’t know what you mean by saying that he had not met any payroll and earned by suing left wing organizations. Obama used to be under the payroll of the Illinois legislature, being a former state senator.
A leader of a country does not necessarily need to be a good economist, a lawyer, or an accountant. Marcos, a lawyer was elected and ruled the country for so many years, Cory, a good wife, Ramos, a General in the military, Estrada, an actor, and now Arroyo, a Professor of economics—what have these presidents done to make us proud as a Filipino? They have their long list of achievements? Did our country prosper? We did not because of too much corruption. Whose government could be in the record book for corruption? We will leave it to the readers’ opinion.
If there is one thing that will not go away no matter what you will do in the government, it is greed and corruption.
Better be prepared for the worst thing to come. The world economy is sick and needs a cure. It can’t be saved by merely electing a leader who knows many things but does a little.
