LINGAYEN— Even as the provincial government continues to assess the damage brought by Typhoon ‘Pedring’, Governor Amado Espino Jr. has already called on local government units and provincial government agencies to prepare and remain vigilant as Typhoon Quiel threatens to smash in over the weekend.
No illegal logging in Pangasinan, say
AFTER a man was caught on September 21 hauling illegal lumber in Infanta town, the provincial government asserted that the incident was an isolated case and that illegal logging has been eliminated in Pangasinan.

DESPITE the threat of Typhoon Pedring lashing the country with heavy rains and strong winds and causing flooding, the organizers of the much-publicized LBC Ronda Pilipinas bikathon decided to push through with the 12-day road saga on September 24 with much fanfare at Cagayan de Oro City. Our official Pangasinan contingents were divided into two teams, the East and Central-West Pangasinan with six riders in each squad.
