It’s so interesting to note how Sunday Punch started its journey towards truth and courage. It is but displeasing to learn about your dear father meeting his Creator at an early stage because of some influential people that surround us.
What about digging deeper into this man’s real background in print . . . Lingayen Councilor Rudy Soriano who pumped three bullets in your father’s chest in his editorial office?
For a fact, my late father working in BCI in La Union, a Punch avid reader, never missed a single issue to update himself on the latest news in the countryside. Besides, they were good friends.
Your newspaper, Sunday Punch, forms part of my lecture in . . . History and current events, as the oldest existing community newspaper in Pangasinan.
