Mabuhay ang Filipino!
Manny Pacquiao’s recent victory over Ricky Hatton makes every Filipino proud and happy.
As reported by Joaquin Henson, Manny acknowledged God giving him power and strength. He said, “Everything comes from God. I owe everything to God. He gives me strength. With God on your side, anything is possible. You can do things you thought you could only dream about.”
This conforms to what the prophet Isaiah wrote: “But the people who trust in the Lord will become strong again. They will rise up as an eagle in the sky” (Isaiah 40:31).
Manny is a flying eagle for his country. He also said, “I go out there to do my best so that our people can be proud to be Filipino, so they can be happy and united.”
