Was Tiamson a “newly emerged” pusher?

THE Pangasinan Police Provincial Office recently formed an investigation body to further pursue the investigation of the death of Rowena Tiamson, graduating college student who was obviously executed and dumped in Manaoag by still unidentified suspects.

Acting-Provincial Director P/Sr. Supt. Ronald Lee, assigned P/Supt. Jackie Candelario, the present Deputy Director for Operations to head the investigation body on the killing of Tiamson as well as other shooting incidents in the province.

Tiamson, a college graduating student and a member of church choir was found dead with gun shot wounds and dumped in Manaoag. Authorities found sachet of shabu in the victim’s body.

The Manaoag PNP has been ordered to submit its initial report on Tiamson’s case.

Meanwhile, Candelario said, there an oversight committee has been formed as well to verify and double check all the suspected drug personalities reported to Project Double Barrel of PNP.

Candelario said it is still premature to say if Tiamson was innocent and not involved in illegal drugs. The investigating body is now verifying if Tiamson is one of the so-called “newly emerged” pushers of illegal drugs.

Pangasinan PPO confirmed no derogatory report had been received on Tiamson’s case. (Nora Dominguez)
