Bolinao ex-barangay captain shot dead
BOLINAO—A former barangay captain was gunned down dead Monday night in Barangay Luciente 1 this town by an unidentified assailant.
Killed was Aparicio Ramirez Jr, 56, resident of Barangay Patar who sustained four gunshot wounds on his head and neck.
He was brought to Bolinao Community Hospital and was declared dead on arrival by his attending doctor.
Police investigation showed the victim was having a drinking spree with his employee inside his grocery store when an unidentified male suspect entered and shot him twice.
The suspect’s companion was waiting outside on board a black TMX motorcycle.
The gunman took the P10,000 cash money from the cash drawer of the grocery and both fled towards west direction.
Recovered by investigators from the crime scene were two cartridges of cal. 45.
Motive for the killing has yet to be established. (Tita Roces)
