Robbers cart away computer sets in 2 schools

LINGAYEN—Unidentified robbers ransacked two schools and carted away computer sets worth P200,000 in Mapandan and Binalonan towns on April 17.

The principal’s office of Primicias Elementary School in Mapandan was burglarized by unknown suspects by destroying its door grills with bolt cutter and took away one PC projector valued at P30,000, one Acer Netbook worth P7,000.00, one Neo laptop valued at P12,000.00, one computer set worth P18,000.00, six computer monitors worth P30,000.00 and one mother server of a computer worth P15,000.00.

Meanwhile, the Sumabnit National High School in Binalonan town was also victimized by unknown robbers who carted away six Red Fox brand of central processing units and monitors for desktop computers and a flat screen television valued at P75, 000.00.

The culprits gained entrance by forcibly cutting the door padlock of the computer room presumably with the use of a bolt cutter. (Tita Roces)
