Re: MBTF orders fish pen demolition anew
How many times must Her Highness allow the illegal pens to exist in Dagupan’s rivers. I use the term allow because when Ben Lim Sr. left office the river had been cleared of illegal pens and cages. Upon Madam Fernandez’s taking office the pens once again cluttered the waterways. She allowed the pens to exist “until the fish matured for harvest.” Over and over fish pens went up and allegedly torn down.
If Dagupan City can afford to give 14th month’s month bonus to its employees, surely the city can afford to have a river patrol to make sure the rivers are clear of the illegal pens and cages. Her Highness claims she is a champion of Dagupan’s ecology. Hey, Your Highness, the river is an important part of the City’s economy and ECOLOGY!
