Dear Editor –
I fully agree with your 2 recent comments regarding the dumping of human wastes from the Lingayen provincial jail and affecting nearby towns and cities, particularly Bonuan, Dagupan City. For a Dagupeno, born and raised in Dagupan, who have been away from my beloved city, and now looking forward after 45 years to return and settle, to spend my “golden years” in the city and build myself a roof in Bonuan.
I have all but concerns and dismay that this environmental crisis just waiting to happen is not getting alarms in all the government units concerned. I call on all Dagupenos to come together and “ring their bells” and let their voices be heard from the city, province and/or the nation, that this is NOT ACCEPTABLE. Action must be done NOW. And there might not be a better timing since the elections for local, province and nation is just around the corner.
Let’s STINK them politicians!
