Re: Playing with Fire

Punch readers wanted to know …

I, for one wanted to know, if I didn’t know that by now, why the … Gonzlinger … drew his gun against Joe de V, a tested gunfighter, too, riding sidearm with Marcos – the Jesse James of his time.

THE HUBRIS . . .

The Gonzlinger believed deep in his heart, can do a toe-to-toe with him, banking on his youth and the country’s disillusionment with … El Dictador Macoy himself … where JDV, was indentured up to his eyeballs.

And when the dust of politics cleared, the Gonzlinger was left befuddled and licking his wounds. An upstart in the rugged world of politics ran over by a heavy roller (perper).

However, he learned his valuable lesson, that high flying principles in Pinoyland does not make a … politician.

THE FOXIER-THAN-A-FOX . . .

He’s of age now, well-rounded in mind in how he view the political landscape before him.

His political gonzlinging days are over, I think, but his penchant for everything … beautiful … does not change – firing his … gun … every now and then, until you shove dirt in his face.
