Re: WHO set to benchmark ‘Alagang Balon Dagupan’
Great to hear about the World Health benchmarking the “Alagang Balon Dagupan for the Elderly,” a program of the Dagupan City government. With all the “Pork Barrel” money coming out of Malakanyan, hopefully it will be used to fund many of the much needed programs for the elderly and handicapped. P11 billion in tax money has been distributed by Aquino through the controversy-ridden Disbursement Acceleration Program (DAP)mostly to party members loyal to him. Pork barrel? Never (so he says) under his (Aquino) Administration.
Out of that P11 Billion, Sixth Pangasinan district representative, Marylyn Primicias-Agabas, received P72.5 million. Hopefully some of that money will find it’s way to her constituents and not linger in her desk until her next election. The City of Dagupan and its neighbors deserve a slice of the pie.
