Re: BTF vows to fight for MC Adore

Her Highness has shown that her main objective as mayor is to undo everything that Former Mayor had accomplished as mayor of Dagupan City. She stopped the construction of the tsunami wall, attempting to stop the building of the SM Mall (which would cut into her pocketbook), continues to try to reverse the sale of the MC Adore and also the “recovery of the money paid for the overvalued Awai Property in San Jacinto.”

There is one thing though she has left intact and has maybe turned a blind eye to: the liquidation of P100 Million in financial assistance given to Northern Luzon’s financial and trading hub. The commission found fault with the management of P105.2 million under the Lim Administration. Yes, I said Lim, to prove that I do not put any politician above the people.
Having said that, if Lim was so bad and Her Highness so good, why does this practice of not having an accounting of where the money is going or what is it being used for by the NGOs continue under the Belen Fernandez Administration. Could it be that the pork barrel passes from one administration to the next? I hope not. An accounting of the continuation of the mismanagement of NGOs fund continues by the COA. I hope that The Sunday Punch will keep us informed of this situation brought on by the Lim Administration and continues under Her Highness Belen.
