Thus the original code: “We, the cadets, do not lie, cheat, steal nor tolerate among us who do so.” ___ Such words ringing of purpose, carved in granite written in blood.
The Honor Code … when politics went inside to poison every cadet’s way how he see’s things: ” We, the cadets, …. lie, cheat, steal and tolerate corruption, incompetence, malfeasance known to the Pinoy mind.”
THE GUV’S WORDS . . .
“Take the Honor System, the words that binds us together with you, wherever you go!”
Really? Are you that serious, Pareng Spines?
With this Honor System spoon-fed into the psyche of very cadet graduating in that so-called “elite” military academy, why in the world lots of these cadets who became generals, colonels became multi-millionaires making more money, than they were supposed to earn?
THE AMENDMENT . . .
I’ll have to do some radical changes what Pareng Spines deep in his heart and mind meant.
“Take the … Dishonor System … that binds us together in ~ corruption ~ in whatever you do, wherever you go!”
