At long last, Dagupeños found out their city, supposedly the “Pearl of Pangasinan”, is swimming in red ink – bankrupt like the Badjao beggar plying the streets of Dagupan.
For those Dagupeños, who are as blind like newly-born-mice, and so naive to believe in everything what The Benjie, is feeding them, should see the reality facing them now, that what’s coming from City Hall were all lies and full of balderdash.
THE BENJIE(not-so-dead-yet)LIM . . .
It’s more than a month now, when The Benjie, was struck down by a massive stroke.
It’s more than a month now, that his whereabouts, is not known, but the Devil himself.
It’s more than a month now, that his family tries to hide him from the truth, to hide him like he’s coming back like Lazarus to wreck havoc on Dagupan.
It’s more than a month now, and peace and quiet has settled on Dagupan. His rabid cohorts, wide-eyed and frothing in the mouth, accepted The Benjie’s fate, he’s all but gone.
THE TRUTH THE WHOLE TRUTH . . .
Succumbing to tremendous hit on his physical health, The Benjie still manages to live in the dark, as what he does all his life … as mayor of Dagupan.
Inasmuch, he tried to hide – the Grim Reaper – has arrived!
