It could be the lamest of the lame of excuses, Pareng Spines could pull against the Pangasinense.
Coming to the US of A, claiming to have her mother checked by American doctors on her current ailment, is a willful affront to the members of Philippine medicine.
Pareng Spines flamboyance of proclaiming Pangasinan as a nice place to live, because the advanced medical facilities it can provide, is all but an exercise in deceit.
Why bring her mother to America for such treatment? He can’t trust the expertise of Philippine doctors?
Let it be known, that coming to America for treatment, is very expensive, and only those moneyed oligarchs, are privileged to do it.
If Pareng Spines could do it and bring with him … muchachas … to take care of her mother, the he must have lots of money hidden under his belt. ___ Jueteng money?
THE PLOY IF THERE’S ONE . . .
This medical trip supposedly that of her mother, could just be a trickster’s move to cover his tracks.
The other side of coin, would mean he’d take a rest from the rigors of the campaign. But, if he is looking for a place to relax, there are places in the Philippines, where he can get complete seclusion from the madding crowd.
THE HANGMAN’S KNOT ON HIS NECK . . .
It’s well-known among his inner circle, Pareng Spines has cancer, and this could be the surprise trip to America to arrest the spread of the disease. It can be done if, the prognosis, is not an open and shut case.
