Everybody … seemed confused who the hell, is the whistleblower: Mayor Ric Urduña of Bugallon or this “M. Urduña”, that was revealed in a speech by Senator Miriam Santiago, in a speech he made on the floor of the Senate on illegal gambling … jueteng.
THE INVESTIGATIVE REPORTING . . .
The way it’s exposed accusing Mayor Ric Urduña as the culprit, is outright flawed. The initial “M” is not “R” in any which way you look at it.
To admit Mayor Ric, is the Judas who sold Pareng Spines to the Ombudsman, who has a hand in the … jueteng payolas … is absolutely right, but to believe Mayor Ric, was the man-Friday of Pareng Spines, trusted most in his bewildering array of moneymaking schemes, is beyond the limits of the truth.
THE COLONEL THAT WAS . . .
As was reported in this newsweekly, a Chief of Staff of Pareng Spines, was sacked, relieved of his duties, and the reason he left was family problems. A political soft getaway to cushion the blow.
That colonel was . . . Paterno M. Urduña . . . who was with Pareng Spines ever since serving in the PNP, when Pareng Spines was in Congress, and in Urduja.
And that fateful day, when he was shown the door never to be seen again among Pareng Spines selected few of Praetorian Guards.
THE “M” WORD . . .
Did Senator Santiago make a mistake in mentioning M. Urduña as one of Pareng Spines bagmen? No! She was on the right track, probably thinking … M … was the initial of his name not the middle initial of his mother’s name.
THE SURROGATE . . .
For the Ombudsman to nail Pareng Spines, she should bring in Col. Urduña for intense questioning. He possibly has the key to Pareng Spines Pandora’s Box.
Mayor Ric . . . for all intents and purposes is the fall guy. A person who couldn’t separate horse shit from carabao dung.
He could be the person whom the Colonel included in his cabal of jueteng collectors doing the dirty work; of making weekly collections; making deposits in the bank, and allotting equal amount of payolas to Pareng Spines … flying circus … members.

And the idea Pareng Spines can’t be suspended – is suspect. He falls under the Ombudsman’s beck and call. The Ombudsman’s pleasure, and her pleasure, is to nail … Pareng Spines … to the cross.
