Re: Mangaldan celebrates “pindang” with new festival

The carabao is the lifeblood of the Filipino farmers. Without these animals the small farmers could not exist. As an important part of the Philippine culture a festival SHOULD be held to celebrate these gentile, hard working, and loyal animals. Their contribution should be lauded but eating them isn’t the way.
