Beyond logic

Re: Quo vadis Bishop Soc …
It’s jaw dropping when this bishop sided with Pareng Spines accused of plunder, in his connection in this monstrous conspiracy of jueteng payolas.
After he was installed as the replacement of Auxiliary Bishop Oscar Cruz, he gave his word to follow where Bishop Oscar left off, that the unfinished business of eradicating jueteng in Pangasian, is an ongoing crusade to fight it tooth and nail, and whoever is involved – Pareng Spines or anybody else’s.
THE SQUEAKY WHEEL . . .
To stop Bishop Soc in his tracks, it seemed he was given the … grease … to shut him up throwing into question how true a leader of the church he is, when he put on the line: his pontifical vestment; his mitre; his croisier; his zuchetto; his yarmulke and the poor souls of the Catholic Church who “believes” in him.
THE SOCRATES IN HIM . . .
This unsolicited help for Pareng Spines could be the … HEMLOCK … that will do him in.
Involving the church in Pangasinan’s dirty politics, is beyond logic beyond common sense.
HAVE FAITH . . .
Did Pareng Spines lose his faith in his God? Probably not!
But, he loses his faith in good governance; his honesty; his competence – the most important ingredients in public service why he was elected governor twice.
Bishop Soc’s … suckin’ up to Pareng Spines can be interpreted, not what in having faith he could be absolved on what he’d been indicted, but he could have told him in a very subtle way short of being misconstrued … REPENT … before it’s too late.
