Re: Court subpoenas Lim, 9 city dads

What a mockery the court system has become. The only reason Mayor Lim, and the City Councilors were issued subpoenas was not for the alleged pending sale of the MC Adore site. The subpoenas were issued for no other reasons but political. Any person with a sane mind would be ecstatic at the idea of ridding the city of an eyesore and using the site for the good of the city.

Oh, no, not her highness. A new mall might again cut in on the profit from her CSI markets. Or she could be pissed that the former Fernandez mayor couldn’t do anything with the site. Or it could be that she was hoping to be mayor and sell the site herself but a progressive minded Mayor Lim beat her to the punch.

And as far as Regional Trial Court Judge Emma Torio, I hope that she did not issue the subpoenas for political reasons. Judges are supposed to uphold the laws.
