Coming to this point on Mr. Gonzalo’s uncontrolled anger, fire coming out his nose and ears – this garbage problem’s giving him the fits, that if he’s allowed to lay his hands on The Benjie, he could have strangled him.

If Awai is gone for good, what are the alternatives The Benjie should do?

Nothing!

Dagupan has that open dumpsite at Bonuan. And probably, what The Benjie is thinking, have Dagupan buy some barges – fill it with garbage and let it float to China, like what New York City did to North Carolina.

And if The Benjie can’t reach that high enough, he’s going to sit down on his ass, and let Mr. Gonzalo and his cabal of do-gooders bite their fingernails, sweat bullets, and cry to high heavens the bullshit Dagupan is in.
