Re: Dagupan Bangus branding may finally push through
The bangus from Pangasinan purchased here in California are already tagged “Pangasinan” to differentiate it from the muddy, foul tasting fish raised in Taiwan. The tagging of DAGUPAN raised bangus is long overdue. Let the world know what the best of the best tastes like.
Did you know that the first domestic farming of the bangus was started in the Philippines over eight hundred years ago? The bangus (Chanos chanos (Forsskal) can grow to over five feet in length and takes years to reach sexual maturity.
