Re: Corruption never sleeps in Pinoyland
The breaking ground of the &15 billion dollar Entertainment City project financed by Kazuo Okada, has been embroiled in controversy before it starts.
It created a uproar, when an internal investigation by Wynn Resorts found out, that a $110,000.00 dollars in cash and gifts, was paid as bribes to the Philippine gaming regulators, including . . . Cristino Naguiat,Jr., chairman and CEO of PAGCOR, who denied emphatically as usual for a Pinoy official, when caught with his fingers in the cookie jar.
This idea of bribe money passing hands to get a gaming license, does come natural in a country, where things don’t move unless grease, is applied to the wheels of corruption. What a shame!
Pinoychio foolitician Rep. Amado Bagatsing, chairman of the House Gaming Committee, shouted his lungs out, accused Steve Wynn of trying to undo a government-supported initiative. That such accusation, is based on pure hearsay, and shouldn’t be believed.
On the contrary, what Kazuo Okada did, is in direct violation of the US Foreign Practices Act, as found out by Louis Freeh, former head of the FBI hired by Steve Wynn. He could be indicted here in the US, where the courts are beyond the reach of corrupt political connections.
Now, the rats, the termites, the roaches, the snakes, of Philippine politics are brought together in complete disregard of party affiliations, to protect their own kind the Okadas, the Naguiats.
The truth not only hurts . . . it kills!
