No big deal

The Punch continues to say that for the plant closure is Mayor Lim’s fault. Remember, the present problems were originally caused by the previous administration led by another person named Fernandez. Had he had any rudimentary knowledge of civil or business law the plant problems would be nonexistent.
Also, if the plant opening is being held hostage by the mayor’s insistence that his administration be in partnership with the plant then let the opposition, meaning Her Majesty Belen Fernandez, or any one running against the mayor at on the next election draft a letter stating that they will relinquish any claims of co-management of the plant.
So far all those opposed have just ballyhooed. None have said that they would give up co-management. Until that happens I don’t think the Punch or the opposing party should be making a big deal about it.
Remember, should anything go wrong with the plant the sitting administration will always be blamed with or without co-management. The buck always stops there.
