Unfair coverage

I find it amusing that the Punch would go to her Ladyship Belen Fernandez to inquire about an MOA concerning the reopening and operations of the fish processing instead of the man in charge of making the MOA, Mayor Lim.
Also, how come the Punch has been so quiet about the mayor’s plan to develop the oyster industry in the city? Dagupan produces the best bangus. If Mayor Lim’s plan succeeds, Dagupan can also produce the best oysters.
Please, let’s have a bit more fairness in coverage of the local news. The Punch is a very good paper. It has the potential to be the best regional newspaper in the country. My complaint is only with its local coverage. I find the Punch MORE than fair in allowing a gadfly like myself access to in the Forum.
God Bles to all and a prosperous new year, and to the Punch may you continue to grow worldwide.
Editor’s Note: The vice mayor’s view was sought since the planned MOA will require the sanggunian resolution/ordinance. Also, the information office of the mayor remains tight-lipped about it. Again, the city hall has not come out with its details about the oyster industry other than the announcement. We suggest you write city hall to be more transparent.
