The belief …. the “miraculous” Virgen of Manaoag has been laid out, it seems like a piece of woolen cloth thrown over everybody’s eyes.
I checked … to have a look-see this so-called powerful intercession from above, to see how – miracles – were portrayed from the Lady of Guadalupe of Mejico City; from Fatima of Portugal; from Lourdes of France, to this place Manaoag, and concluded with keen eyesight … it did not change much thru the centuries, that uneventful spoon-feed tactic in its initiation.
It did not change … nothing!
The magic of miracles …..
This godson lawyer of yours, Al Mendoza, if he passed the bar exams thru the good graces of the Lady of Manaoag, without taking a review course, then I would assume he studied law without opening one lawbook. Mr. Gonzalo would be squirming in jealousy.
The parking lot ….
The pleas of Des and Auring Bautista – oligarch owners of UB – for you, Al Mendoza, to create a miracle in building an additional parking lot thru Governor Espino, is wishful thinking.
Do they mean these structures should be added so, if they come to pray they have an accessible convenience to park their flashy cars? Where will you build an extra parking space? That piece of land at the back of the church is the parking lot.
A recommendation …
With the money these …. Bautistas …. have, have them build one for free, a concrete parking structure above the parking lot.
Roll out your sleeves – Al Mendoza – and start mixing the concrete for an idea not on taxpayers’ expense.
