The art of Russian bluff

Re: Playing with fire
I didn’t know, Mr. Gonzalo, has red blood in his veins. Thought at first, it was plain polluted water from the Calmay River.
When push comes to shove, he flexed his muscle up on what he believed in, that right is right – the hell with Mayor Benjie Lim.
Mr. Gonzalo, I think, is well versed, too, in the art of Russian bluff. An approach to keep on pushing the knife in somebody’s back, until you hit cold steel, and you back off never to threaten again.
The Cuban missile crisis will attest to that.
That’s how Mayor Benjie tried to muzzle Mr. Gonzalo, but good for him and his LNU – standing tall holding his ground.
I have to differ with Mr. Gonzalo, in branding City Administrator – Vlad “The Blood” Mata – Benjie’s lapdog.
The word lapdog is an understatement, not proper enough. We might as well call him . . . Joseph Goebbels . . . who killed his kids, his wife, himself in an unquestionably blind devotion to his – Fuehrer!
