A good bluff? I well remember the Cuban missile crises. The Russians took out one or two missiles from Cuba. The U.S. took out ALL of its missiles from the Baltic Sea countries. Who won that bluff?
As you look at Dagupan today remember it was Mayor Lim, during his last tenure as mayor, who brought in the much of the businesses today that is employing and bringing money into the city.
Who had enough intestine to stand up to the squatters of Sitio Russia that allowed the fish processing plant to be built? Remember the progress of that plant was at a standstill under Mayor Al.
Again, who is standing up to the illegal fishpond “owners” clogging up the rivers. These illegal fishpond “owners” gained their foothold on the rivers under another Fernandez. Again, the former Mayor Al.
Mayor Lim is fighting an uphill battle with a majority of the city council, council who are more interested in kissing the posterior of Her Highness Belen Fernandez than doing what is good for the city.
I guess the vice mayor thinks the name Fernandez is sacred. Trouble is she ain’t no Angel.
You gotta remember that when a bluff is called you better be holding a four of a kind. Pairs don’t win.
