Sr. Tiburon, since you seem to be the know-it-all guy here, then perhaps you can enlighten us with what you know about Pangasinan: history, culture, arts… whatever.
Maybe what you know is NOT badly flawed and you’ll get the attention of some people doing some research on our history.
I am not sure if you are an expat (with respect to other Pangasinan expats), but you are probably the most soured one. I dig your penchant for “Pasirayew” (not for the lack of term but i think the word suits you well).
Unfortunately, since you are using a fictitious name, I can’t condemn you to ‘damnatio memoriae’.
By the way, Limahong did not pillage the towns along the gulf. There was already Chinese settlement (if not enclaves) along Lingayen at that time.
He was welcomed by the Parian. The burning of the shoreline houses was not pillage but intentionally done to show him where to disembark.
