Re: Urduja painting

It is the artist’s freedom of expression to portray his/her subject. Princess Urduja is part of Pangasinan’s rich history, culture and folklore. Way back before the conquitadors came to the Phils.

Dito sa Pangasinan, females are treated as equals. Like the neighboring town Binmaley, it might come fron the word Biimanooley, ruled by an amazon, perhaps!
