Re: Capitol offers home for another ‘Urduja’
Princess Urduja has been the subject of my poetic works. To us artists, poets and writers, she is more than a symbol and a “tenth muse” who ignites our passion for creativity.
Yes, Pangasinan should own Antonio Dumlao’s Urduja painting. Of all Urduja paintings and art works I’ve seen, Dumlao’s Urduja is the closest depiction of the beautiful warrior-princes. It is just fitting that the painting be placed or exhibited in Urduja House.
I laud the provincial administration’s thrust to revive and preserve Pangasinan’s cultural and historical heritage
Magnayon lawas so kultura tan maawaran a tawir na Pangasinan!
