Re: Punchline

The recall petitions filed by Bani Mayor Navarrio against the vice-mayor and four councilors and vice-versa smacks of immaturity as the peoples’ elected servants. The suit and countersuit is an indication that they can’t work harmoniously. It is an exercise in futility. You can’t right a wrong with another wrong.

The town’s executive charged them with “obstructionism” while the five-some counter with non-transparency. These issues could be settled if the two sides sit down and “unlock their differences”. The problem is both claim to be right.

From where I hold court, there is more than meets the eye. C’mon, we were not born yesterday. Lay your cards on the table.
