Edwin, what you are telling us is pure hogwash. Nuclear power is not one of the cleanest forms of energy. Nope!!! Not at all. Nuclear energy isn’t clean. It’s dangerous to human beings and to our environment. It contaminates our planet earth with environmentally dangerous radioactive waste products.
If we build nuclear power plant in Pangasinan or anywhere in the Philippines, where are we going to store tons of radioactive materials? Even superpower like the great USA is having problems where to store their harmful radioactive garbage.
Can we afford the costly maintenance of nuclear power plant most especially the safe handling and storing of these environmentally dangerous nuclear waste products that will be radioactive for hundreds or thousands or even millions of years?
Can we afford safeguarding them against terrorist attack or from being stolen by terrorists?
The cleanliness of nuclear power is pure nonsense. Not only does it contaminate the planet with long-lived radioactive waste, it also contribute to global warming because of the enormous amount of fossil fuel used to mine, mill and enrich the needed radioactive nuclear fuel as well as to construct the enormous concrete reactors and other structures of the nuclear power plants worldwide.
