I have no problem with the proposal provided Marcoses return substantial portion of plundered wealth, monetary compensation and a public apology to the victims of martial law. The polls and survey indicate that it is a divisive issue. It will never happen during PNoy’s presidency. Imagine giving a military honor/s to the man who is perceived as your fathers killer. The proposed mausoleum is gigantic if they go by Imeldefic design that it will dwarf all structures around it. Remember Marcos bust in La Union, bigger than 4 US presidents in Mt. Rushmore.
Besides all his medals are acquired based on affidavits, being a brilliant lawyer, pathologic liar, and a grandiose type of politico. Marcos perfected the art of lying in front of TV/media without closing his eyelashes.
