Here we go again. If it isn’t the Grand Old Lady, Belene, it’s another Fernandez threatening to waste city money by taking the mayor to court. If Alfie Fernandez wants to go to court, fine, but let him use his own money. I’m sure that between him and Her Highness, they have enough millions to use their own money on a frivolous lawsuit.
The Fernandez’s seem to think that their name makes them some sort of demi-gods.
To paraphrase the Hamlet(?) “Angle, what has thou wroth?” The name Fernandez does not give them the right to attack Mayor Lim or his son on every issue. Dissent, yes. Constant disruption at the expense of the city because a one-term-do-nothing Mayor Fernandez was booted out, never.
I suggest that the majority in the city council do what they were elected to do instead of kowtowing every time a Fernandez opens his/her mouth, even if they are just belching.
Mayor Lim is a God-sent compared to those before him.
