Jojo Casilang, I take exception with your remark “A car accident will not degrade the flora and fauna around the accident.” Not only do cars kill by accidents, for years I’ve been hearing from Al Gore and others that automobiles are the main cause of “global warning.” Isn’t the pollutants from cars responsible acid rain? Are not cars supposedly one of the main causes cancer, asthma, and a myriad of other illnesses? Consider this, compare the amount of deaths from automobile related reasons to that of deaths from radiation. Also, if you smoke your chances of dying from cigarettes are thousands of times greater than from radiation.
People have to quit hiding their heads in the sand. As President Franklin Roosevelt stated, “We have nothing to fear but fear itself.”
Oh, by the way be careful not to eat too much bacon or bar-b-ques. Scientists say that these food along with some others contain carcinogens which cause cancer.
