Global warming? I own a GMC pickup, a motor home and a Hummer. I guess that tells you what I think of “global warming.” The majority of creditable scientists and climatologists who think the myth of “global warming” is just that, a myth, grows with each passing day.
NASA has reported that a cooling trend of the earth’s temperature returned five years ago. Thirty years ago the B.S. was we were going into another ice age. Mother Nature is going to do what she wants and there is nothing you or Al Gore can do to change that.
As far as Pangasinan buying outdated technology from Korea or any other nation. Please don’t try to put words in my mouth. I have never advocated the use of any technology other than the latest. What I have been saying is don’t be scared of nuclear power. The use of nuclear is the way of the future. Also, remember that technologies are always advancing at a faster pace than we may like.
I own several computers. At the time of purchase they were state of the art. One week later they had to be upgraded. The same holds true with nuclear energy, what is state of the art today will be passe tomorrow. In the meanwhile, what are we to do? Stand by and let the world pass us by?
Regarding the latest in nuclear power, etc., go to the Lawrence National Laboratory web site. Very interesting reading.
