No amount of planning, enhancement, strengthening and training can prepare the city and the people if their attitudes and disciplines remain the same. The people will not heed the warning since they do not trust that their positions will remain secured once they leave their homes.
By the way, where will the people of the coastal areas go if a tsunami like the one in Japan will hit Lingayen Gulf in 15 minutes? Assume for purposes of planning that Pangasinan has three (3) nuclear power plants (as proposed by the BMs) that will suffer the same damage as that of Japan’s nuke plants, where will you evacuate such population of Pangasinan?
People of Pangasinan must be so stupid to allow the continued stupidity of their elected officials.
