Re: No comparison

Mr. Ceralde

I do not own any tricycle nor do I have any business interest in any. I am sick of people with their so called “environmental concerns” and their condemnation of people trying to make an honest living using legal vehicles to do so.

What are my concerns about the environment? I do not throw litter out of the windows of my cars. I do my best not to litter the countryside, not out of concern for the “environment” but out of respect for my fellow human beings. When fishing, I throw back any undersized fish I catch. I also respect all forms of life.

The court on which my house is located opens to a creek-side bicycle trail. At 72 yrs. I still occasionally ride my bike along the trail when the weather is nice or once in a while I walk a couple of miles, NOT for exercise but to enjoy the tranquility of the numerous parks or wildlife sanctuaries near my house. I do not like people who allegedly show concern for the environment who ride around in their cars, mow their lawn with gas mowers yet bemoan the fact that some guy is trying to feed his family by using a gas powered tricycle.

As you may know, I live in sunny California. Today the temperature stayed at about 50 degrees Fahrenheit. Right now the temperature is 31 degrees, 1 degree BELOW freezing. The skies have been dark and rain is forecast for tomorrow. What the hell happened to global warming?

Oh, yes, Mr. Ceralde, next time you visit the Philippines, please use a sailboat. Airplanes emit a lot of pollution and I want you to do your part in protecting the environment. Happy New Year!
