Thanks for your simple explanation and examples of citizenships. If only people know the simple requirements it would not be an issue in American politics, as the Gonz had written in his opinion. Up to now the birthing issues with Obama is still going strong, what stupidity. But then as the good book says there are people with eyes and are blind because they refused to see.

You brought out Christopher de Leon citizenship. How did he become dual citizen in the Philippines? You mentioned how he through his lawyer became a US citizen but how did he retain his Philippine citizenship? Was he covered under the new RA of Cory Aquino?

Just curious since you brought his case up.
