The Hundred Islands fishponds and the land reclamation in Dagupan are just like a play the readers of SP watches. We spend our time reading about it but in the end it will still be there and the powers of the day prevail. Just like the endless probes in the senate and the court hearings they just seem to fade away.

Both cases above seem to be blatantly illegal but none of these plays will save Mother nature because the current hands of the powerful will prevail.

I got so excited reading about the arrest of the reclamation workers but in the end no one was charged. Is this what will follow with the fishpond workers? A nice newspaper headline and also say in the inside page they were also released.
