Jueteng Deja vu all over again???

Police chiefs’ heads will roll kaya lang ire-reshufle lang sila kung hindi mauubos na ang manga hepe natin.
 Another palabas, kumita na iyan.

Jueteng is a multi-billion peso
industry where even a small time bettor enjoys the comfort of betting in his own turf. It is part of our culture like sabong and it is here to stay for another millennium in whatever shape of form, small town lottery, first ball, etc.

I personally advocate for the legalization of jueteng. Why? Potential tax revenue for franchises nationwide and if you tax it you could also regulate it. Why do legislators/political leaders refuse to see it?
It is source of payola (extra income
, pang araw-araw na gastos) Projects come far and between, sa jueteng may pangaraw-araw kang allowance.

Look, almost everybody is on the take and everybody knows it, hindi naman tayo ipinanganak kahapon.
It takes political will to seek changes but most of the enforcers PNP, local govt. officials
are on the take so it is impossible to succeed. Puro palabas lang talaga. If you can’t lick them the join them. You could use PNP resources to fight criminality vs.
 wasting precious time.

Jueteng is illegal while casinos are not because they pay taxes per se. Jueteng will only stop when people stop patronizing it. Just like any other business if it does not make money it will die naturally.
