I totally agree that the education problem in the Philippines cannot be immediately solved by just copying other countries.
The present system is grossly inadequate to provide the presently established educational standards, so how can it even think of raising the standards comparable with the other advance neighboring nations. It is like putting your kids to school to take a long course in college when what you can afford is a short course.
It is nice to see in paper that the Philippines is embarking on an educational plan to be at par with other nations but it must fix its problems first before embarking on a more grandiose dream.
What is your input Dr. Duque to PNoy regarding education?
