Remove illegal fish pens

Mayor Benjamin Lim has reset the demolition of illegal fish pens and fish cages for 30 days because of “humanitarian considerations.”
Come on, Mr. Mayor, how are you going to destroy the illegal pens and cages when the rain comes and the river becomes a raging, rushing stream of water? You could keep your fingers crossed and hope a typhoon destroys the pens.
You were elected to do your job. That job includes the protection of the waterways and the marine life that inhabit them. Your job also includes the protection of the legitimate fish pen operators.
These objectives cannot be met as long as nothing is done about the illegal fish pens. The illegal fish pen operators are lawbreakers and their shenanigans should not be tolerated.
