Who cares?

People who are responsible in filling gravel to the Calmay River must be influential and well financed. Environmental damage has been done and the city official allowed it to happen. How did it happen? Well, it’s everyone’s guess.
It is a common practice in the Philippines that the so many get away with crime. This is a classic example of negligence by the city officials… or did the job go through because of instant gratification? We can just guess.
Let’s pray that P-Noy will be able to lessen the injustices done by the so many corrupt officials. We will see the devastating effect in the years to come. The damage that has been done will someday haunt the city and the city people should blame themselves for electing irresponsible leaders.
The poor people of the city will suffer the most especially those around the affected areas… but who cares anyway…. they are the silent majority that has been ignored or neglected by the government for a long, long time.
