Re: The “dams” in the city

The doctor better pack his bags with slippers next time he goes home because it is not surprising. TFC shows floods from Dagupan to Manila and the monsoon rains just started. Remember the famous Hollywood director and actor Tom Hanks stuck in a taxi in Metro Manila due to flash floods. He had an appointment in the palace and went took three different transport modes to get there Filipino time.
The climate really changed. My room window air conditioner of 1.5 HP could not maintain comfortable temperature that I had to go to CSI for a 2.5 HP. I calculated the temp with room size only last year and now I had to change it. The doctor better heed Gore’s environmental change because I sure was directly affected by it.
With all that, Dagupan is still wonderful. Being with Punch office staff for company, going out with my Blessed Imelda classmates (organized by Mrs. Charito Siapno-Torres) of 1967, meeting fellow Johnies, and brief exchange of pleasantries with my neighbor Boy Rayos makes it worthwhile. Top it off the Ceralde Guild of Bonuan Gueset elected its officers for a stronger unified community.
30 days went so fast that I have to look back to those things that I did not have time for. Like not having time to get together with Jess Garcia for the Bonuan Pantal basketball championship games due to my hectic schedule. See you next time Jess. (You missed your kumpadre Angel’s birthday, Jess).
