Re: Moving on… nuclear plant

Dear Edwin:

Comparing Pentagon, US banks, and universities’ defenses against hackers with a future nuclear power plant in Pangasinan is not quite correct like comparing the discipline of U. S. military personnel operating the nuclear submarines with civilians.

Going back to your post of 21March, you faulted Mr. Boyd about MTBE (not MTB as you stated), building the largest windmills not cost effective and in danger of crashing to the ground that was later demolished. I told you before to read and understand what you read. Boyd was not with the California Energy Commission until 2/2002 and those crisis about MTBE and energy cost (ENRON fraud) occurred before his time (2002 to 2012-was reappointed by Arnold) with the CEC.

The windmills that you mentioned were the result of bad study and engineering. Have you been reading the news about windmills around the world and USA lately especially those near the Kennedys?

Your 17 March posting addressed to Mr. Sobrepenia also contains lies especially about no waste in reprocessing nuclear rods. Read on and understand the testimony of Mr. Boyd at: http://www.energy.ca.gov/2007publications/CEC-999-2007-036/CEC-999-2007-036.PDF. Have you ever heard of or read and understand OTEC, cold fusion, deuterium or heavy hydrogen, vertical axis wind turbines, magnetic levitation, miniaturization of nuclear power plants, aside from solar and wind power? Is it burying the head in the sand or could it be that the head is not buried but there is no brain in it?

Remember that knowledge is power but little knowledge is dangerous.
