RP needs more power plants

Jeremias Andrade Carrera,
California is in a financial crisis in many parts because of the enviro-nuts who control the state, among them your beloved Mr. Boyd. I do not want the Philippines to continue its downward spiral because there are people who do not think the Philippines can produce top flight scientists.
When you and others like you concede that the Philippines can (and do) produce these engineers and scientist, only then will the country stop being the servants to the rest of the world.
Regarding, nuclear waste. When the rods are reprocessed it also goes through what is commonly called “half life.” Reprocess (and use it) enough times soon the waste becomes zero, i.e. the sum of 1/2 divided by 2 enough times soon becomes an iota of its former self.
As I have previously stated, most of Europe and Japan get the majority of their power from nuclear plants. These countries were devastated during WWII. They rebuilt and are surpassing the U.S. economically with their forward thinking. Maybe that was because their people were not a bunch of enviro-whackies who continued to hide their heads in the sand in the face of progress.
Build enough power plants and the Philippines can once be the “Pearl of the Orient.”
